West Rowan’s Lauren Arnold is The Charlotte Observer girls high school athlete of the week.
Arnold, a 5-foot-10 junior, scored 21 points in an 81-39 win at Lake Norman Charter Jan. 31.
Arnold also scored 23 points in an 89-46 victory over Central Cabarrus Feb. 3.
