Pine Lake Prep’s Elizabeth Perri is The Charlotte Observer girls high school athlete of the week.
Perri, a junior defender on the soccer team, led Pine Lake Prep to three shutouts on the road this week with wins at Langtree Charter (10-0, May 1), at Mooresville (2-0, May 4) and at Bradford Prep (3-0, May 5).
Perri has helped the Pine Lake Prep defense to eight shutouts, allowing just 11 goals all season with a group that also includes, Allie Barfield, Braelyn Iosue, Kendall Love and goalkeeper, Maddie Harris.
