Mountain Island Charter School’s Grayson Harvey is The Charlotte Observer/Deer Park high school football offensive player of the week.
The quarterback completed 14-of-25 passes for 270 yards and three touchdowns in a 24-21 win over Charlotte Latin. He connected with teammate Justice Washington five times for 128 yards and two of those scores. Mountain Island beat an 11-time NC private school state champion and got one of the biggest wins in school history.
