Tracking where Charlotte-area athletes are heading as NCAA National Signing period begins

National Signing Day is actually national signing week, and it starts Wednesday and runs through Nov. 15.

Prospective college student athletes in multiple sports can sign letters of intent with college during this period and The Observer is tracking where area athletes will eventually be heading.

Upcoming signing dates:

Dec. 20-22: football early signing period.

Feb. 7: football regular signing period begins

April 17: Division I basketball regular signing period begins
