Charlotte Latin wins NCISAA high school state wrestling championship

Charlotte Latin won the N.C. Independent Schools’ wrestling state championship Friday.

The Hawks finished with 250.5 points at Charlotte Country Day, well ahead of second-place Metrolina Christian (231) and Providence Day (178.5).

The Hawks had three individual champions: sophomore Liam McConaughy (106 pounds); freshman Davis Jones (113); and senior Austin Flowers (175).
