Spring sports rewind: Monday’s high school spring sports results and our honor roll

Pine Lake Prep is off to a 4-0-1 start in girls’ soccer, and the Pride scored its biggest victory so far this season on Monday.

Freshman Raegan Blickley scored a second-half goal, leading Pine Lake Prep to a 1-0 Catawba Shores 1A-2A victory over two-time defending 1A state champion Christ the King.

Junior Avery Garrett and senior Allie Barfield assisted on Blickley’s goal, and Madison Harris got a clean sheet in goal.

Crusaders’ goalkeeper Elizabeth Navola had eight saves.

It was the Crusaders’ first loss after two opening victories.
