Rocky River’s Jayden Ross is The Charlotte Observer’s boys’ high school athlete of the week.
The 6-2 senior scored 30 points to go with 11 rebounds and three steals in an 86-58 win over Garinger on Jan. 17.
Ross also scored seven points in a 71-50 loss at Independence on Jan. 14.
Ross is averaging 19.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.3 steals per game for Rocky River this season.
