Community School of Davidson’s Regan Downey is The Observer’s girls’ athlete of the week
Community School of Davidson basketball player Regan Downey is The Observer’s girls’ high school athlete of the week.
The 5-foot-10 senior scored 28 points, grabbed 12 rebounds to go with two assists, five steals and one block in a 44-27 win over Pine Lake Prep on Jan. 21.
Downey also scored 21 points in 50-20 win over Mountain Island Charter on Jan. 24.
Downey is averaging 20 points, five rebounds and three steals per game for Community School of Davidson (12-5) this season.
