NCHSAA releases schedule for regional, state basketball finals. Here’s when teams will play

The N.C. High School Athletic Association has released the schedule for next week’s regional and state championships in Winston-Salem.

For the second straight season, the association will hold regional and state championship finals in the same week at Lawrence Joel Coliseum. Previously, the regional finals were held at eastern and western sites and separated from the state finals by a week.

Regional play will begin Monday, March 10, with 3A boys and girls. The 1A schools play Tuesday, 4A schools play Wednesday and 2A schools are on Thursday. The 1A and 3A state finals are Friday. The 2A and 4A state finals are Saturday.

Tickets will go on sale Friday via the Lawrence Joel Coliseum website.

Note: The order of the regional championship games each day will be determined later this week. The order of the 1A and 3A state finals on Friday will be determined Tuesday night and the order of the 2A and 4A finals on Saturday will be determined Thursday night.
