Bradford Prep’s Linzie Rosenberger is The Observer’s girls’ athlete of the week

Bradford Prep’s Linzie Rosenberger is The Charlotte Observer’s girls’ high school athlete of the week.

The Bears’ freshman goalkeeper had 23 saves in two games as Bradford Prep won 7-0 at Piedmont Charter in the opening round of the 1A state playoffs on May 13 and 5-4 at Union Academy in the second round on May 15.

Rosenberger has 137 saves for Bradford Prep (8-10-3).
