Julia Scoles, South Iredell, Sr.: University of North Carolina commit, three-time North Piedmont conference player of the year, looking for another monster season after recording 536 kills in 2014.
Kendall Bender, Providence, Sr.: UNC Wilmington commit back to lead reigning 4A state runner-up, after notching 300 kills, 84 blocks as junior.
Taylor Rowland, Cox Mill, Sr.: Auburn commit returns to lead a Charger team that went 26-1 last season.

Charlotte Observer Volleyball Teams to Watch
Providence: The Panthers were painfully close to another 4A state crown, losing in the state finals to Greenville Rose, and now want to get back and win it all.
Myers Park: The Mustangs are also hungry to get back to work after getting to the 4A state semifinals a year ago, and have the talent to make another deep run.
Cox Mill: The Chargers won their first 26 games last year, before their season ended in a third round loss. Now, Cox Mill believes they are 3A state contenders.
Providence Day: The Chargers won 23 games in 2014, and are now prime to make a run at NCISAA 3A state crown this year.
South Iredell: The 3A state runner-up has all-everything star, Julia Scoles, back in the lineup, which has to make them feel good about getting back to the final game and winning it this time.
