The NCHSAA announces high school football finals sites and times

The N.C. High School Athletic Association has announced dates and sites for its high school football state championships, which run Thursday, Dec. 11 to Saturday, Dec. 13.

The association is moving from a four classification format to eight.

Thursday, Dec. 11 at UNC

1A final: Wilson Prep vs. Robbinsville, 4 p.m.

8A final: Millbrook vs. Hough, 8 p.m.

Friday, Dec. 12 at UNC

6A final: Jacksonville/Middle Creek vs. Watauga/Northern Guilford, 4 p.m.

7A final: Clayton vs. Grimsley, 8 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 13 at Lenoir-Rhyne

4A final: Reidsville vs. Brevard, 11 a.m.

2A final: Tarboro vs. Murphy, 5 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 13 at Durham County Memorial Stadium

3A final: Kinston vs. Shelby, 2 p.m.

5A final: JB Hunt vs. Crest, 8 p.m.
