Tuesday’s girls’ rewind: Myers Park girls roll in conference game at West Meck

Myers Park’s girls’ basketball team started the season slowly against a challenging schedule.

But first-year head coach Jaylaan Dillard’s Mustangs are rounding into form as they improved to 3-0 in the Greater Charlotte 7A/8A Conference and 12-5 overall with a convincing 52-12 victory at West Mecklenburg Tuesday night.

Led by 14 points apiece from Summer Thomason and Amani Barner, Myers Park won its fourth straight game and for the 10th time in its last 11 contests.
