There are five new teams in the N.C. statewide girls’ high school basketball rankings this week.

The rankings are sponsored by The Charlotte Observer and the News & Observer of Raleigh.

They are compiled by longtime N.C. high school basketball expert Randall Clark, a regular on The Observer’s Talking Preps streaming show.
