New NC boys’ statewide high school basketball rankings are out. Who’s in? Who’s out?
In the final week of the regular season, two new teams join the N.C. statewide boys’ basketball rankings.
The rankings are sponsored by The Charlotte Observer and the News & Observer of Raleigh. They are compiled by longtime N.C. basketball expert Rick Lewis, a regular on The Observer’s streaming Talking Preps show.
This week, Davidson Day rejoins the NCISAA rankings and Butler moves into the NCHSAA 7A poll. The Bulldogs beat 8A No. 2 West Charlotte and 7A No. 2 North Mecklenburg in their two most recent games.
