Which are the best girls’ prep basketball teams in the state? Check our rankings

Here are the latest N.C. girls’ high school basketball statewide rankings.

The polls are beginning to tighten up as the postseason rolls on. Public schools began conference tournament play this week, and private schools tipped off the NCISAA state tournament on Tuesday.

The rankings are sponsored by The Charlotte Observer and News & Observer of Raleigh. They are compiled by longtime N.C. high school basketball expert Randall Clark, a regular on The Observer’s Talking Preps streaming show.
