Stuart Cramer’s Oshauna Holland is Ms. Basketball in North Carolina

Wake Forest recruit Oshauna Holland is Ms. N.C. Basketball for the 2025-26 school year.

The award, given by The Charlotte Observer since 1985, signifies Holland as the best player in North Carolina. She will receive a trophy and a large banner to hang in her school’s gymnasium.

Holland joins recent Ms. Basketball selections including Watauga’s Kate Sears, now at Virginia Tech, and two-time winner Sarah Strong, now at Connecticut.

This season, Holland led Stuart Cramer to a 28-2 record and a fourth-round N.C. playoff berth. She averaged 33.5 points per game, good for No. 13 in America and No. 1 in North Carolina, plus 8.4 rebounds and 7.2 assists per game.

Her assists were third best in the state.

During the postseason, Holland broke a 37-year-old record and became the state’s all-time leading scorer.

“It was a lot of weight, but I’m just so super excited,” Holland said after a 66-24 win over Newton’s Fred T. Foard in the third round of the N.C. 4A playoffs. “I’m glad it’s over, and now I can extend it.”

Stuart Cramer lost its next game, 60-52, to Canton’s Pisgah High, but Holland ended her career with 3,252 points, the most for any North Carolina player, male or female.

“I didn’t expect anything different from O’Shauna,” said Stuart W. Cramer head coach Carey Pohlman. “She’s always ready to play, and it seems she always steps up her game, even in the playoffs. That’s no surprise that she got the record.

“I’m just glad she’s on our side, and that I get to coach her every day.”
