Which Charlotte-area prep football games are moving to Thursday. Here’s the latest
The 2026 high school football season is going to start a little earlier than expected.
The National Weather Service is calling for a chance of heavy thunderstorms in the Charlotte-area Friday night, which is scheduled to be football’s opening night.
The schedules of at least seven games have been changed from Friday to Thursday in the Charlotte-area and several other games in the state are also being rescheduled.
