These teams haven’t met since 2009. Providence leads the all-time series 8-3. Vance hasn’t won since 2000. Both come in hot. Vance blew out West Mecklenhurg 54-12 last week. Providence upset S.C. 4A power Summerville 10-9 on the road for one of the school’s biggest wins.
Scotland County (1-0) at No. 10 Independence (0-1), 7 p.m.
