Charlotte-Area Football Players of the Week
Benny LeMay, Butler: In a 35-3 victory over a Hough team that was unbeaten and ranked No. 6 in the Sweet 16, LeMay ran 19 times for 174 yards and two scores and he added three catches for 64 yards and a third touchdown.
Traquan Price, Monroe: Defensive star had 15 tackles, including two for a loss, plus a sack in a 35-7 win Friday against Anson County.
Bryan Digsby, Berry: Completed 21 of 29 passes for 246 yards and four touchdowns in a 52-44 win against West Charlotte
Khalil Moore, Davidson Day: Caught nine passes for 163 yards and three touchdowns in a 48-0 victory over Community School of Davidson.
Gage Moloney, Rock Hill Northwestern: In a battle of top-seven Sweet 16 teams, Moloney threw for 241 yards and two scores and ran for 87 yards and two scores in a 35-34 overtime win against rival Rock Hill South Pointe.
Myles Dorn, Vance: 12 catches for 173 yards and a score in a 41-20 victory over Independence.
