Boys No. 7

East Lincoln

Mustangs

Head Coach: Neil Hodges (16th year as East Lincoln head coach)

2014-15 Notes: Finished 24-1 overall, including a perfect 14-0 in the Southern District 7 to win the league title; lost in 2A state championship game to Kinston, 60-43.

Returning Starters: Chazz Surratt (6-4, G, Sr.); Sage Surratt (6-3, G, Jr.); Cameron Dollar (6-3, G, So.); Hayden Duggins (6-5, G/F, Sr.)

Key Newcomers: Christian Parks (6-2, F, So.)

Why Them?: The Mustangs have a lot of good reasons to believe they can make a run at the 2A state champion again, including all-state guards, Chazz (20 ppg) and Sage Surratt (24.6 ppg), who set the tone for a team with matchup nightmares for their opponents all over the floor.
