Notes

▪ Lake Norman Charter’s girls averaged 22 wins for five straight seasons until 2014-15. The Knights won 11 games last season. They return five starters, including senior Sarah Novroski, and look like a Big South 2A/3A title contender again

▪ Former Concord coach George Walker takes over at his alma mater, looking to bring some Concord-type success to a Mount Pleasant team that was 3-21 last season. He returns two starters: 6-4 senior Thomas Boshears and 5-11 junior Jacob Lee.
