Observer’s Sweet 16 football poll 11.23.15

Community School of Davidson has won eight straight games and advanced to the N.C. 1A quarterfinals. The Spartans are into the Observer’s Sweet 16 this week for the first time.

Community School of Davidson, the No. 1 seed in the West playoffs, is in the poll at No. 16. The Spartans will host Thomas Jefferson in a third-round playoff game Friday.

Also this week, Lincolnton is back in the poll. The Wolves (11-2) are in at No. 15 and will play Mountain Heritage in the 2A quarterfinals Friday. Lincolnton has won seven straight games.
