No. 1 Providence Day 46, Raleigh Ravenscroft 29: A 15-2 advantage in the third quarter busted open a close game for the Chargers. Janelle Bailey and Erin Whalen combined for 25 points for the Chargers (6-0). Celine Ives made 3-of-4 field goals for PDS.
No. 11 Weddington 57, No. 3 Charlotte Christian 37: Weddington (6-1) got 17 points, six steals and five assists from Erin Addison in a decisive upset of the Knights. Kerstie Phills had 20 for Charlotte Christian (5-1). No other Knight had more than five.
No. 4 Hopewell 63, Olympic 35: Cat Powell had 22 for Olympic, but the Trojans only scored 18 points in the first three quarters. Ineesha Hankerton and Kelsie Ruff-Mills had 15 each for Hopewell.
No. 9 Hough 53, Lake Norman Charter 41: Kaila Thompson had 13 and Renee Alquiza 12 in the Hough win. The Huskies held Lake Norman Charter to only 20 points in the first three quarters.
No. 14 Charlotte Catholic girls 62, Christ The King 44: Carrie Eberle had 20 points to spark an easy win. Catherine Strickland had 15 and Marie Strickland 14 for Christ The King.
Charlotte Country Day 64, Hickory Grove 50: Country Day led 33-17 at halftime and eased home. Dee Ellis had 15 points and Grace Gach had seven points and 17 rebounds.
Vance 63, Independence 21: Sophomore Ahlana Smith had 21 and freshman Dezia Lawrence added 16 in an easy win for Vance.

Emma Brooks, Concord First Assembly: 28 points, 15 rebounds, three steals in a 52-30 win over Westminster Catawba.
Claudia Dickey, Charlotte Latin: 19 points, six assists, five rebounds, five steals and a block in a 60-42 win over Durham Academy. Latin is 5-0. Hawks Kiera Dowell (12 points, seven assists, seven steals) and Sydney Scott (12 points, six rebounds) also had big games.
Gabby Smith, Hickory Ridge: 15 points, 19 rebounds for No. 12 Hickory Ridge in a 47-32 win over Central Cabarrus. Hickory Ridge (4-0) got 11 points and 14 rebounds from Sydney Miller.
Lucy Pedlow, Charlotte Country Day: 17 points, 11 rebounds in a 64-50 win over Hickory Grove.
Bella Sheprow, Hannah Gordon, Metrolina Christian: 21 points, 10 rebounds, five assists for Sheprow and 13 points, 21 rebounds and 10 blocks for Gordon in 53-52 win over North Raleigh Christian. Metrolina trailed by 12 with four minutes to play.

No. 1 Providence Day 74, Raleigh Ravenscroft 58: Down 10 at halftime, the Chargers (6-2) scored 52 second half points to rally. Devon Dotson had 16 points, six assists. Trey Wertz had 12 points, three rebounds, three assists. Isaac Johnson had 10 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and Josh Howard had 10 points, 11 rebounds. Ravenscroft (4-2) got 21 from Mike Okauru.
No. 5 Berry 67, No. 6 West Charlotte 60, OT: Berry senior forward Jael Scott had 22 points and Mike Roberts 11 to lead Berry to the win. Jalen Knight led West Charlotte with 14.
Vance 59, No. 11 Independence 49: Cam Hamilton had 19 points, five assists and Marcus Neal 16 to help spark Vance to the upset over the Patriots. Independence got 17 from Marcus Thomas.
Asheville Christian 61, Gaston Day 41: Chris Clayton had 22 and Jordan Shepherd 19 for Asheville (4-1). Gaston Day (3-2) got 20 from 6-5 sophomore forward Quan McCluney.
Carolina Day 67, Carmel Christian 61: Peyton Truesdale had 14 for Carolina Day. Freshman Myles Pierre (19 points, six rebounds) and sophomore Brett Swilling (15 points, five rebounds) led Carmel.
East Meck 63, Providence 60: Providence (1-5) made a furious rally in the fourth, outscoring East 21-10 but came up short. Providence got 23 from Mersaun Shabazz. East (4-3) got 14 from Charvis Jones.
Hickory Ridge 73, Central Cabarrus 57: Avery Metcalf had 16 points and Andrew Metcalf 15 for Hickory Ridge. Tyler English led Central with 13.

Wendell Moore, Cox Mill: 6-5 freshman had 24 points, nine rebounds for No. 10 Cox Mill in a 71-65 overtime win over Northwest Cabarrus. Teammate Ethan Goude had 17 points on five made 3-pointers and Jonathan Earl had 12 points, nine rebounds, five steals.
Nico Payne, Concord First Assembly: 17 points, 11 rebounds in 91-51 win over Westminster Catawba
Ryan Schwieger, Weddington: Scored 22 of his 32 points in the first half and finished with eight rebounds in a 57-41 win over Charlotte Christian. Schwieger averages 19.5 points, 11 rebounds, 3.8 assists.
