South Meck, Central Cabarrus, Berry win at South Meck girls tournament
South Mecklenburg’s girls shot 67 percent from the field in an easy 70-22 win over A.L. Brown at the Sabres Holiday Classic Wednesday.
South Meck made 5-of-7 three-point attempts and improved to 8-4. Courtney Sanderson had 19, Ali Fitch had 15 and A’Lea Gilbert added 13. Aja Stevens had 10 assists.
