Cuthbertson WR J.T. Cauthen commits to North Carolina
Cuthbertson High junior receiver J.T. Cauthen committed to North Carolina Tuesday.
He announced the commitment on Twitter.
— кιиg ʝαмєѕ♚ (@CauthenJt) January 5, 2016 Cauthen, a 6-2, 210-pounder, had more than 20 Division I scholarship offers, developing a huge resume playing with senior quarterback Austin Kendall, an All-American who will play at Oklahoma.
This season, Cauthen became the school’s all-time career leader in receptions (104) and yards (2,645). This season, he caught 50 balls for 981 yards and 12 touchdowns. In the fall, he made the Observer’s inaugural Great 8, when the newspaper named the area’s top player at each position.
