Long winning streaks mean little movement in Observer boys Sweet 16

There was little movement in this week’s Observer boys’ Sweet 16 poll. The reason? Most of the teams are winning big.

Lots of ranked teams are enjoying long winning streaks. No. 1 Providence Day (10), No. 4 Concord (six), No. 10 Fort Mill (seven), No. 15 Lincoln Charter (seven) and No. 16 Lincolnton (10) are among several ranked teams that haven’t lost in weeks.

No new teams entered the poll this week, but with several key conference games on the horizon, there could be some movement in the next poll.
