Peyton Smith is a soccer star at Carmel Christian School in southeast Charlotte. This season, he scored 30 goals and had 28 assists for Carmel, which finished 20-3-1 and lost in the first round of the N.C. Independent Schools 2A playoffs.
Smith made the NCISAA 2A all-state team.
"He has great vision and does a great job of putting teammates into space where they can be dangerous," Smith’s high school coach, Kyle Hunt told MaxPreps in the fall. "He can finish himself but is also able to draw defenders to himself and find open teammates in the box."
