Ben Topp, Hough: School-record 39 points in a 68-51 win over A.L. Brown last Tuesday. Topp was 19-of-19 from the field and 1-for-1 from the free-throw line.

Bates Jones, Charlotte Latin: 13 points, 10 rebounds in a 69-49 win over Charlotte Christian Friday; career-high 30 points, 13 rebounds in a 74-67 win over Cannon Saturday.

Sarah Billiard, Covenant Day girls: 18 points, 17 rebounds, eight blocks, three assists, three steals in a 53-38 win over Cannon Friday.

Parker Tompkins, Davidson Day: 23 points, 10 rebounds, two blocks in last Tuesday’s 72-34 win over SouthLake Christian; 24 points in Friday’s 71-40 win over Greensboro Day.

Clifford Taylor, Olympic: 18 points, 10 rebounds, five blocks in a 58-44 win over West Meck Tuesday.

Marcus Thomas, Independence: 23 points, nine rebounds, two assists in Tuesday’s 67-55 win over Garinger; 21 points, two rebounds in Friday’s 86-59 win over Myers Park.
