Rechon Black, Concord, and Jairus Hamilton, Cannon: Black, a 6-6 point guard, and Hamilton, a 6-8 forward, will be both be playing in the Underclassman All-American game in Indianapolis. The game will be streamed on suvtv.com The game features 20 of the top players from the 2018 and 2019 classes. Tip-off is at 7:30 p.m.

Eva Bower, Charlotte Christian girls soccer: earned shutout in 1-0 win over Charlotte Country Day.

Alex Cohen, Pine Lake Prep baseball: shortstop had six assists and two hits in a 2-0 win over Highland Tech at Pine Lake’s first home game at its new field at Pine Lake Athletic Complex in Mooresville.

Emma Grace Lloyd, Ariana Maibodi, Myers Park girls soccer: both had three goals in a 9-0 win over East Meck.

Carter Morgan, Myers Park baseball: 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a double in a 12-2 win over East Meck.

Lauren O’Connor, Ardrey Kell softball: 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs in a 9-2 win over South Meck.

Sam Russ, Providence Day softball: 3-for-4 with two runs scored in a 8-0 win over Covenant Day.

Greyson Smith, Metrolina Christian baseball: 2-for-4 with home run in a 12-1 win over Westminster Catawba.

Nick White, Hickory Christian baseball: 3-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI in a 11-7 win over Carmerl Christian. Teammate Adam Walker was 2-for-4 with two RBIs.

Justin Williams, Independence baseball: 1-for-2 with a home run in a 2-1 win over Butler.
