Providence High’s Logan Davidson named HS baseball All-American

Providence High baseball star Logan Davidson was named to the MaxPreps All-American team Wednesday.

Davidson, a Clemson recruit, made the second team as a utility player.

Last season, Davidson hit .430 with 49 RBIs and nine home runs. Davidson was 10-1 as a pitcher with a 1.50 ERA. He was named N.C. Gatorade player of the year and Charlotte Observer player of the year. He was selected by the Philadelphia Phillies with draft pick No. 887.
