Butler AD Courtney Paschal leaves for Rockingham County High; W. Charlotte’s Chris Satterfield replaces her

Butler High athletics director Courtney Paschal has left to take a job in her hometown. West Charlotte athletics director Chris Satterfield has been hired to take her place.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools system athletics director Sue Doran said West Charlotte has not hired a replacement for Satterfield.

Paschal told the Observer that she had taken a job at Rockingham County High School in Reidsville, N.C. That school is Paschal’s alma mater and her family still lives in Reidsville.

“It was time to go back home,” she told the Observer via text.

Paschal will be the athletics director at Rockingham County.
