Providence High sophomore catcher Ray Torres commits to LSU
Providence High baseball catcher Ray Torres, a rising sophomore, has committed to LSU.
Torres, 5-foot-10 and 190 pounds, is ranked among the nation’s top 60 players in the class of 2019 by Perfect Game. Torres was a second-team Charlotte Observer catcher and Panthers coach Danny Hignight calls him one of the best young players he’s coached.
