UNC recruit Rechon “Leaky” Black has been invited to the 10th adidas Nationals Global Experience in Long Beach, California, July 28-Aug. 1.

Black, a 6-foot-7 point guard, will be a member of a USA team made up of rising high school sophomores and juniors. The global experience brings eight select teams of players from Africa, Asia Pacific, Canada, Europe, Latin America and the U.S. to compete. The teams will be coached by current and former NBA players and coaches.

Black, who committed to the Tar Heels in January, played his freshman and sophomore seasons at Concord High. He recently announced that he will finish his high school career at national power Montverde Academy near Orlando, Fla. Black’s father, Chon, told the Observer that his son will move to Florida in mid-August. Black made the N.C. Associated Press all-state team as well as the Charlotte Observer all-star team in March.
