Garinger High hires new football and boys basketball coaches
Garinger High has hired a new football and boys basketball coach.
Wildcats athletics director Tony Huggins told the Observer that the school has hired former Independence High offensive coordinator Melvin Peterson. Peterson coached at Independence under head coach Rusty Jester in the ‘90s.
Jordan Yawn is the Wildcats new boys basketball coach. Yawn was head coach at Kennedy Charter last season.
