Windell Robertson hired as baseball coach at Mallard Creek

Windell Robertson is the new baseball coach at Mallard Creek. He replaces Ryan Resendez, who left to take a position at East Gaston.

Robertson, a retired educator, has more than 30 years of coaching experience. He was head coach at Burlington Williams, Vance and Pine Lake Prep. A member of the Air Force National Guard, Robertson is also a baseball instructor at UNC’s baseball camp.

"I am very excited to have a person of Robertson's stature on our staff,” Mallard Creek athletics director Philip Davanzo said. “Everyone we spoke to spoke highly of him. He is a tireless worker, that has a genuine love for the game and helping student-athletes out."
