Mountain Island Charter WR Eric Gallman commits to Cornell

Mountain Island Charter wide receiver Eric Gallman II has committed to Cornell.

Last season, Gallman, a 5-foot-10, 175-pound senior, caught 73 passes for 1,202 yards and six touchdowns for Mountain Island, a Charter school in Mount Holly. He returned 17 kicks for 556 yards, averaging nearly 33 yards per attempt. He also returned 12 punts for 293 yards, averaging nearly 25 yards per attempt.

Coming into his senior season, Gallman had 122 catches for 2,229 yards and 13 touchdowns and nearly 3,000 all purpose yards. He carries a 5.17 weighted GPA.

This season, Gallman has caught nine passes for 148 yards and a score for Mountain Island (1-1), which plays Thomas Jefferson at home Friday.
