Banana Ball is headed to Truist Field.

The Charlotte Knights, in partnership with the Charlotte Sports Foundation, the CRVA and Diamond Baseball Holdings, announced Thursday night that Banana Ball’s Firefighters and Texas Tailgaters will headline a trio of games June 4-6, 2026, at the Knights’ ballpark in uptown.

“Charlotte has always shown up for Banana Ball, and we couldn’t be more excited to come back,” Savannah Bananas owner and founder Jesse Cole said in the release. “The energy, the fans, the city — it’s the perfect place to keep growing Banana Ball to one billion fans.”

The Bananas stopped in Charlotte in June, drawing sellouts of the 75,000-seat Bank of America Stadium for both their games and generating $38.6 million in economic impact, according to the CRVA. Its return is part of the 2026 Banana Ball World Tour and the launch of the Banana Ball Championship League, with all six league teams playing a 60-game schedule culminating in the Banana Bowl Championship next October.

“The Charlotte Knights are thrilled to once again partner with CSF to bring the next chapter of Banana Ball to the Queen City,” stated Dan Rajkowski, the Knights’ executive vice president and chief operating officer. “Truist Field provides a spectacular Uptown Charlotte atmosphere and is capable of hosting an array of unique special events, even in the heart of the Charlotte Knights’ baseball season. We are elated to welcome Banana Ball and their exciting brand of sports entertainment to the ballpark.”

Fans interested can enter the ticket lottery at BananaBall.com. The new league also announced it will host a series Aug. 6-8 at Fifth Third Park in Spartanburg. Additional game details, seating locations and ticket information will be released at a later date.
