Charlotte Knights beaten by Braves, rain
The Gwinnett Braves got past the Charlotte Knights, 6-0, on Friday in a rain-shortened game from BB&T Ballpark.
With the Knights down by a score of 6-0 after five full innings, the two teams went into a rain delay at the start of the top of the sixth inning. The game was officially called at 9:46 p.m. after a one-hour and 17-minute rain delay.
