Charlotte broke a scoreless tie in the top of the fifth when Sean O’Connell hit an RBI single, driving in Danny Muno.
The Indians took the lead for good with two runs in the sixth inning when Max Moroff hit an RBI single.
Indianapolis improved to 6-1 against Charlotte this season.
