NASCAR’s All-Star Race is back at North Wilkesboro.

The race track in Wilkes County is set to host all-star weekend for the third straight year, showcasing the current stars of the Cup Series at the historic venue that hosted its first NASCAR race in 1947.

This weekend’s event is headlined by a 250-lap main event that introduces a promoter’s caution, which track officials can deploy before Lap 220. A new manufacturer showdown will score Chevrolet, Toyota, and Ford drivers against each other based on finishing positions, qualifying will be combined for both the All-Star Race and Open and the Pit Crew Challenge returns.

On-track action begins Thursday at North Wilkesboro with the zMAX CARS Tour race. The Truck Series race is Saturday afternoon and late model stocks and modifieds will also be on the track throughout the weekend. The All-Star Race is at 8 p.m. Sunday.

Various ticketing packages can be purchased at NorthWilkesboroSpeedway.com.

Tickets inclusive for all three days of NASCAR action Friday, Saturday and Sunday range between $154 and $170, according to Ticketmaster. Single-day options are on sale as well, which includes an Ultimate Fan Pass for $499 on Sunday that gets fans access to a dedicated VIP area in Victory Lane, the infield, garage and pits.

Parking is still available. Lot 5, south and adjacent to the speedway across U.S. 421, has spaces priced at $80 for the weekend.

Schedule of this week’s events at North Wilkesboro

Thursday

Parking lots and ticket offices open at 5 p.m., an hour before the gates.

Late model stocks in the zMAX CARS Tour start qualifying at 6:15 p.m.

Qualifying for Thursday night’s zMAX CARS Tour The Reverend Whiskey 75 starts at 7 p.m.

Friday

Fan zone, parking lots and ticket offices open at 2:30 p.m., and spectators start entering gates and suites at 3:30 p.m.

NASCAR Cup Series cars will be practicing on-track starting at 4 p.m., with the main practice session scheduled to begin at 5:05 p.m.

The Pit Crew Challenge starts at 6:10 p.m.

zMAX CARS Tour’s late model stocks will run the Window World 100 at 8:15 p.m.

Saturday

Fan zone, parking lots, and ticket offices open at 9 a.m.

The Truck Series hits the track for practice starting at 9:35 a.m., and gates and suites open at 10 a.m.

Qualifying for the Truck Series race is at 10:35 a.m.

The backstretch crossover gate will open for an hour starting at 12:30 p.m. Driver introductions begin at 1:10 p.m.

The Truck Series’ Window World 250 race is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.

Cup Series heat races are Saturday evening; the crossover gate opens back up for about another hour following the Truck Series race.

The two All-Star Race heats get going at roughly 5:20 p.m. and 6:15 p.m., respectively.

Jake Owen is set to perform a concert Saturday night.

Sunday

Fan zone, parking lots and ticket offices open at 9 a.m., an hour before gates and suites.

The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour practice in the morning, with each group scheduled to begin at 10:15 a.m. and 10:55 a.m.

The backstretch crossover gate will be open for roughly an hour at 11:30 a.m., before those modifieds qualify at 12:45 p.m. Fans can get across the backstretch once again for about 40 minutes between the Whelen Modified Tour qualifying session and race.

Driver introductions for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour begin at 1:50 p.m., and the FaithFest Evangelistic Ministries 150 modified tour race starts at 2 p.m.

The crossover gate opens for another two hours after the race, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

All-Star Open driver introductions begin at 5:10 p.m.

The NASCAR All-Star Open starts at 5:30 p.m.

All-Star Race drivers will be introduced at 7:30 p.m.

The NASCAR All-Star Race begins at 8 p.m.
