2015 NFL Draft Scouting Combine: What to watch

Here’s what to watch as players, teams and media members gather Wednesday in Indianapolis for the start of the 2015 NFL Scouting Combine:

The Numbers

323 Players who received invitations to the Combine.

900 Media members who have been credentialed to cover the event, including The Observer’s Joseph Person and Jonathan Jones.

2,000 Representatives of NFL teams who’ll be there to evaluate draft prospects.

▪ Will Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston show that he’s worthy of the No. 1 pick, or that he’s overweight?

▪ Will the quarterback who Marcus Mariotta beat out for the starting job at Oregon make a splash in Indianapolis?

▪ Will the ACC player who might be the smartest prospect in the entire draft make himself into a household name?

What’s next?

After Indianapolis, pro days, individual workouts and visits with individual teams will be fast and furious leading up to the April 30-May 2 NFL draft.
