Panthers sign ex-Cowboys cornerback to practice squad

The Panthers made a practice squad move Tuesday, signing former Cowboys cornerback Tyler Patmon and releasing defensive tackle Bruce Gaston from the taxi squad.

Patmon, undrafted out of Oklahoma State in 2014, played in 22 games for Dallas in 2014-15. He had 21 tackles, with seven pass breakups and an interception.

Patmon was with Tennessee during training camp and was most recently on Kansas City's practice squad.
