Updates
11:20 a.m.: Luke Kuechly has reiterated that he didn’t have a concussion at any point in camp. — Scott Fowler
11 a.m.: Ed McCaffrey in Spartanburg today. He’s doing some radio work and also working in a visit to son Christian - who has a vet day today. — Scott Fowler
10:45 a.m.: Second day in a row Cam has been picked off in goal-line drills by a nickel. Today it is Corn Elder, who would have gone 95 yards for a TD. Besides that throw, Cam has been good in pretty limited team drill action. — Scott Fowler
10:32 a.m.: Will Grier showing nice touch in goal-line, feathered a pass to Ian Thomas. ... Cameron Artis-Payne with a pretty over-the-shoulder catch in corner of end zone. Just as importantly, hit the brakes before his momentum would have taken out media. — Rick Bonnell
10:10 a.m.: Cam’s old bugaboo - throwing balls too high - has at least temporarily surfaced again in this practice. — Scott Fowler
9:53 a.m.: As Panthers coach Ron Rivera said, today is shells-and-shorts, rather than pads, in last practice before preseason game in Chicago. So probably a lot of teaching/organizing. — Rick Bonnell
9:35 a.m.: Obada back at practice and there are a ton of vet days during Panthers’ last practice before Chicago game Thursday. — Scott Fowler
9:17 a.m.: You know what is impressive about Panthers rookie Brian Burns? How little you hear about him. He is already so solid that when Ron Rivera is asked about Burns, he responds with a quick “He’s got this” sort of comment and moves on to next question. — Rick Bonnell
