Carolina Panthers tackle Mike Remmers slides inside to center – for a day

Carolina Panthers right tackle Mike Remmers slid inside the offensive line Monday and worked at center in place of Ryan Kalil.

Kalil, a two-time All Pro, isn’t going anywhere, but Remmers wanted to make himself more versatile and is finding work inside the line despite being the projected starter at right tackle.

“I’m just trying to be able to do anything I can,” Remmers said. “There’s a saying the more you can do. … I’m just trying to do everything I can to make the team.”
