Actor Will Ferrell impersonates former Panthers star Greg Olsen at Seahawks ‘meeting’

Hollywood actor Will Ferrell “crashed” a Seattle Seahawks virtual team meeting and pretended to be new team member and former Carolina Panthers star tight end Greg Olsen.

Ferrell, impersonating Olsen, wanted to make a few things clear with his new coaches, according to a video of the “meeting” tweeted by the Seahawks.

“I do not do special teams,” he says in the video. “Ever. Not if all 52 guys are hurt.”

Olsen, err, Ferrell, also said he will participate in only 12 plays a game so he can head up to the broadcast booth.

He also tells the coaches that “I came here to catch some balls” and that “I drew up my own plays for Carolina” and intends to do so with his new team.

He also stressed his fitness.

“I’m an old guy,” he said. “I’m 36.”

But “I’ve been working out,” he says in the video before standing up to display his obviously flabby belly.

“Does this look like the body of a 36-year-old?” he asks. “I don’t think so. My body’s a temple. I do a lot of yoga. This is a yoga body.”

His coaches laugh throughout the “meeting.”

Later, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll tweeted:

“Thanks to Will Ferrell aka the Big G.O. for zoombombing our team meeting today! #StepBrothers @gregolsen88.”
