Las Vegas Raiders receiver Henry Ruggs III returns to Panthers game after injury
Las Vegas Raiders rookie Henry Ruggs III left Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers late in the first half with an apparent leg injury. But he didn’t stay out long.
Ruggs walked alone to the locker room shortly after the Raiders scored to take a 17-12 lead with 2 minutes remaining in the second quarter.
Ruggs returned to the lineup for the Raiders first possession of the second half.
Ruggs, a rookie from Alabama who ran a 4.27 40 at the NFL combine, was having a big game with three catches for 55 yards and two rushes for 11 yards. He’s the Raiders’ leading receiver.
Las Vegas led the Panthers 17-15 at halftime.
