Panthers-Eagles game interrupted by shirtless man who stormed field. See for yourself

Well, you don’t see that every day.

As time dwindled in the first half of the Panthers-Eagles game on Sunday afternoon, a fan stormed the field and captivated the attention of Bank of America Stadium.

The person, who was wearing a green hat, appeared to hop the railing from the stadium’s west end zone and proceeded to run near the Carolina sideline, popping his shirt off in stride. (He was wearing jeans and shoes, so technically speaking, he wasn’t a “streaker.”)

The charade didn’t last long: After a bit of running, the person sat down on the field — appearing to mimic a play from DJ Moore a few plays earlier, where the Panthers wide receiver gave himself up instead of facing the wrath of a swarm of Eagles defenders.

After sitting down — and then subsequently laying down — security yanked him off the turf and escorted him off the field with his hands behind his back.

The moment was not shown on the Fox broadcast.

This wasn’t the first time Carolina has had a game interrupted by a boisterous fan: In the 2004 Super Bowl between the Panthers and Patriots, a streaker named Mark Roberts stripped nearly naked in front of the most viewed annual sporting event in the world — a feat referred to by Yahoo! as the “greatest streak in sports history.”

The Panthers led the game 15-6 at halftime.
