The Panthers have signed undrafted free agent tight end Jared Scott, according to a source with direct knowledge of the deal.

He is one of 13 undrafted free agent rookies the Panthers signed after the draft. To make room for him on the roster, the Panthers released former Penn State safety Drew Hartlaub.

At Idaho State, he finished with 41 catches for 340 yards and four touchdowns.

The Panthers added six players through the draft this year.
