The Panthers offense made major changes at quarterback and across the offensive line. Headlined by No. 6 overall pick Ikem Ekwonu, Carolina will likely start three new offensive lineman compared to last year’s team. Trading for Baker Mayfield opened a quarterback competition in Carolina for the first time since 2003.

Mayfield is expected to win that battle and start Week 1 against his former team, the Cleveland Browns.

Projected offensive starters

QB: Baker Mayfield or Sam Darnold

RB: Christian McCaffrey

WR1: D.J. Moore

WR 2: Robbie Anderson

TE1: Ian Thomas

TE2: Tommy Tremble

LT: Ikem Ekwonu

LG: Brady Christensen

C: Bradley Bozeman

RG: Austin Corbett

RT: Taylor Moton
